Thank You Randy |

I was born the son of a man that tinkered with photography all his life. So it seemed inevitable that at age 10, I would pick up my first camera. Since that time, I have not been able to walk away from the art of recording my personal interpretation of light. |

I split my youth between Nova Scotia, Canada and the Mid Western United States. Every summer without fail, our family ventured out across the United States for weeks at a time. |
I was amazed by the beauty of the land and its diverse topography: The expansive Montana skies, the majesty of the Rockies, the sensuality of the Atlantic ocean crashing into the Maine coast, the arid beauty of our southwestern deserts and their strange offering of succulents. With each new turn, I was amazed over and over again, and I wanted to capture all of those images on film to view and review time and time again. |
There simply seemed as though there was not enough time to photograph everything that filled my eyes. In my twenties I came to realize that this was a life long love from which I could never stray. |
Over time, I was drawn to the landscapes of the human animal, faces emotions and bodies ...
... wrinkles of wisdom, laugh lines, the human spirit caught in a moment of time. |
I have been doing photography professionally since 1969. I estimate that I have taken over 225,000 photographs in the last 37 years. It is my wish that I'll continue to click my shutter until just moments before I draw my last breath. I am constantly seeing new and more beautiful, interesting subjects for my lens. I hope to soon bring many new, different images to these pages. |
